You can welcome Snooki to the Zoo when you purchase a commemorative sea turtle plush. Not only will you receive your own pint-sized version of the Zoo’s newest animal, but your purchase includes a donation that will help the Zoo provide industry-leading care to animals like Snooki.

Meet Snooki
After a 300-pound loggerhead turtle was found stranded multiple times along the beach in New Jersey, she was rescued by the Marine Mammal Stranding Center and later named Snooki, after the reality star from MTV's Jersey Shore. She then moved to The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center where she was lovingly cared for and determined unreleaseable. She struggles with positive buoyancy, a condition that makes it difficult for her to dive down into deep water, and something that would prevent her from surviving in the ocean. When she was in need of a forever home, the Minnesota Zoo stepped up. Today, Snooki is busy making herself at home in the Zoo’s Tropical Reef, exploring her new, 250,000-gallon habitat and meeting all of her new aquatic roommates.
